God’s Smuggler

By Brother Andrew

One winter night, in the year 1950, Andrew lay in his bed and prayed a simple prayer … “Lord, if You will show me the way, I will follow You. Amen.” It was a just a little thing but it would change his life forever.

God’s Smuggler tells the amazing story of a man who brought the word of God to those behind the Iron Curtain. When Andrew was young he had longed or adventure, something different. When he was 17 he joined the army and went to fight in Indonesia. There he received a crippling injury in his ankle. On a hospital bed, he found the beginning of what he had been missing and began a journey toward the plan God had for him.

Andrew’s story is inspiring and thrilling. The way God guides him, making the impossible, possible, is amazing. I really enjoyed this story of love for others, the conviction to follow the God of the universe, and the ability to trust Him in every instance.
